Spell Check

"Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you". Ephesians 4:31-32

I posted a blog the other day about my experience with the Deen Brothers and (as my mom pointed out) I had a some grammer and spelling errors. I could change it, but I am not. I am human, I make mistakes and well, we can't always rely on 'spell-check'. Just like in life, we speak first forgetting to check our 'spell-check' button...I know I am guilty of this! We tend to forget that we need to forgive our friends for speaking out of turn or because they hurt feelings our feelings....it is easier to be mad than to forgive.

This is a New Year....I am going to focus on forgiving people instead of being angry with them.

Lunching it with....

The Deen Brothers (YAY)!! So, today I along with 100 other wonderful ladies had the opportunity to have lunch with and awesome duo, Jamie and Bobby Deen. I must say, they are truly AMAZING! They were funny, personable and just plain down to Earth. Jamie and Bobby shared with us their story on how the Deen family got its start and also shared a couple of funny stories about their momma, Paula Deen. They took time out of their busy schedule to talk with us, sign their new cookbook and they allowed us to take as many (and beleive me there were many) pictures as we wanted.

If all "famous" people were as real as they are, the World would be a much better place. So, I want to give a big THANK YOU to Jamie and Bobby for coming and speaking to the Fort Stewart Officer Spouses Club and for supporting our Troops!

My life. For many people its a life thats hard to understand, to others its a life they would not change for anything in the world. To me, being an Army Wife is so rewarding. You have the chance to live in many different places and to meet some pretty amazing people from all walks of life. Yes, I am alone many nights (no, it does not bother me) but I know that my husband is "Saving the World" and what can be better than that?? We are about to embark on a new journey in our life and I could not be more excited!!

I hope you stay tunned as I blog about the trials and tribulations of this life....
